HALF-PRICE ENTRIES for Ready2Race Sale

Breednet - Friday June 7

There is only one week remaining to secure half-price entries into the 2019 Inglis Ready2Race Sale.

More than 120 entries have already been received for the sale including 2YOs by leading stallions such as I Am Invincible, So You Think, Dundeel, Not A Single Doubt, Medaglia D'Oro, Sebring, Written Tycoon, Deep Field, Hinchinbrook, Brazen Beau, More Than Ready, Better Than Ready, Rubick, Shooting To Win, Star Witness, Smart Missile, Dissident, Stratum, All Too Hard and Holy Roman Emperor.

Inglis is again teaming up with Racing NSW, with the Ready2Race Sale to take place on Tuesday October 22, three days after the running of the $14m The Everest at Royal Randwick.

The timing will again ensure the sale attracts the attention of the world's racing eyes, which will be firmly planted on Sydney during that period.

The lead-up to the 2019 sale is expanding, with the introduction of a breeze up session at Eagle Farm in Brisbane, to be held on Monday September 16.

It will be accompanied by the regular Cranbourne (Fri Sept 13), Warwick Farm (Fri Sept 20) and Taupo (Mon Sept 23) breeze ups, as well as the alternative session at Warwick Farm on the morning of Friday October 18.

"Our bloodstock team will be undertaking several marketing trips to promote the catalogue and to recruit buyers in Hong Kong, Singapore, Macau, Malaysia, Japan, Korea, China, New Zealand and The Philippines as well as incentivising buyers from all states of Australia to attend the sale,'' Inglis bloodstock consultant Matt Scown said.

"The horses will be marketed to the buying bench in the most impressive and comprehensive manner, including the use again of state-of-the-art slow-motion cameras from breeze ups as well as walking vision.

"There are already some outstanding entries received which will ensure the quality of and hype surrounding the sale will again be significant, which we believe will assist vendors and pinhookers alike in getting the best possible results for their juveniles.''

Half-price ($500+GST) entries close at 5pm next Friday, June 14, while final entries close on Friday August 9.
