Goffs November Foal Sale Offers Insight

The Goffs November Foal Sale kicks off later tonight our time and runs from November 17 – 20 and this year will hold significant interest with the first NH bred foals being offered for high profile Kiwi shuttlers Chaldean (GB) (Frankel) and Paddington (GB) (Siyouni) as well as Darley shuttler Native Trail (GB) (Oasis Dream), who has an amazing 43 entries!

Chaldean (GB) shuttles to Cambridge Stud.

A Group I winner at two and three, Chaldean is a Juddmonte sire that has been given good opportunity in the UK and in New Zealand at Cambridge Stud.

His selection of five foals includes Lot 533 from the Irish National Stud, a filly from Pivotal mare Aimirghin Lass, the dam of promising Chris Waller trained stayer Soul of Spain. He burst to prominence during the spring to win the Group III Newcastle Gold Cup and was also second in the Group I ATC The Metropolitan.

Paddington (GB) shuttles to Windsor Park Stud in NZ.

A four time G1winner at three, Paddington is a Coolmore sire that shuttles to Windsor Park stud in New Zealand. He has just three entries for this sale and a further three to come at the Tattersalls December Foal Sale.

Native Trail (GB) shuttles to Darley NSW

A Champion 2YO and Group I winner at three, Native Trail shuttles to Darley in Hunter Valley and is back for a second season this spring at a fee of $27,500.

Breeders have been impressed with his first foals here and will no doubt take an interest in how they are received at the Euro foal sales with so many to be offered with 43 at this sale and a further 19 at the Tattersalls December Foal Sale next month.
