Thronum Retired to Stud

Outstanding sprinter, Thronum, has been retired from the track and will stand at Sun Stud in Victoria in the spring.

ThronumThe Group II winning Snitzel galloper sustained a career ending injury in Saturday's Group 1 Goodwood Handicap.

"Thronum was really travelling turning for home in the Goodwood, but then I felt him put in a short one and I pulled him up as soon as I could," jockey Tim Clark points out.
