Widden Stud Sell $775,000 Too Darn Hot Colt

Tara Madgwick - Tuesday May 6

Widely tipped as a likely sale-topper at the Inglis Australian Weanling Sale, the Widden Stud consigned Too Darn Hot (GB) colt from Enbihaar did not disappoint when fetching $775,000.

$775,000 Too Darn Hot (GB) colt from Enbihaar.

The stylish bay colt is a full brother to Group II winner Too Darn Lizzie, who made $1million as a yearling at Magic Millions in 2023 and the three year-old is expected to make more than that when she is offered at the Inglis Chairman’s Sale on Thursday in the Yarraman Park draft.

The highly anticipated colt was purchased by Stefan Pardi of Equine Growth Fund Pty Ltd, who was also active at the sale yesterday securing a filly by The Autumn Sun from The King’s Widow for $280,000.

He is the fourth foal of Group II winning Magnus mare Enbihaar, who was also second in a Group I MRC Blue Diamond Stakes and is a sister to this season’s juvenile stakes-winner Miss Celine.
