Significant racing and breeding prospects aplenty in June (Late ) Sale

A range of intriguing broodmares and breeding prospects – as well as many young, in-form racehorses suitable for both the domestic and Hong Kong market – headline a stellar catalogue for the Inglis Digital June (Late) Online Sale.

A total of 485 horses have been lotted for the sale including 173 racehorses (76 race fillies), 157 broodmares, 66 racehorse shares, 42 yearlings, 41 weanlings and 6 unraced stock.

With the Southern Hemisphere foaling season almost upon us, the June (Late) catalogue is brimming with opportunities.

Proven broodmare Extra Olives (Redoute’s Choice) is the dam of talented young sprinter Spicy Martini, a winner of four of her seven starts including the G3 Fred Best Classic and Listed Mick Dittman Plate in this most recent Queensland Winter Carnival.

Extra Olives is being offered in foal to the European Champion 2YO, World Champion 3YO and Cartier Horse of the Year St Mark’s Basilica, whose yearlings sold up to $750,000 this Australasian sale season.

Group winner Searchin’ Roc’s is another quality offering in this sale.

The 6YO mare is a dual G3 winner and six-time Stakes winner overall of more than $1m in prizemoney, ready for her maiden cover.

Glenlogan Park and Bell View Park Stud both have mare reductions – Glenlogan’s is a 17-strong draft featuring Stakes winners, Stakes performers and relations to Stakes winners while the Bell View Park offering is headlined by the Stakes performer Tamahine, who is being offered in foal to Farnan, the leading first season sire of Group winners.

There are also several outstanding young racing prospects catalogued for the June (Late) Sale, headlined by high class 3YOs Secure and Ikasara.

The progressive Secure (Snitzel) is a winner of his past two starts at Canterbury and Warwick Farm for leading trainer Chris Waller.

Scheduled to race at Randwick tomorrow, Secure (pictured) is being offered by TFI and Kia Ora, he has been assessed with a HK Rating of 67 and will have a full vetting completed on Monday.

Ikasara (I Am Invincible) is a 2YO Rosehill winner on debut before finishing 3rd in the Listed Heritage Stakes and 4th in the G2 Roman Consul Stakes behind G1 Coolmore Stud Stakes winner Switzerland and G1 Golden Slipper runner up Coleman.

*Belle du Nord – G2-winning and G1 placed 2YO, offered in foal to Stay Inside

*Broadband – Dam of G3 placed 2YO Drisana and talented juvenile Climate Change, offered in foal to Shinzo

*Electra – Dam of G2 winner Electric Girl, offered in foal to Harry Angel

*Hell Hound – 2YO metro winner, a half sister to Stakes winners Letzbeglam and Gatsby’s

*Ladybelucky – Half sister to a G2 performer, offered in foal on a maiden cover to Home Affairs

*Madhmoonah – Half sister to recent G1 winner Reserve Bank

*She Is Stryking – Dam of four winners from four to race, including a Stakes winner and G1 placegetter, offered in foal to Shinzo
