Impressive HK Winner for Wrote

Chill Chibi was an impressive winner of the Class 2 Final at Happy Valley in Hong Kong on Wednesday.

Sent out favourite, he duly obliged for trainer Danny Shum and Jockey Zac Purton. 


Bred by the Hong Kong Breeders Club's Nicola Chu, Chill Chibi is by Wrote out of My Amazing Cool. He was purchased by Mr HK Ma for $80,000 out of our Karaka 2021 Book 2 draft. 

He is now the winner of five races and over HK$7 million in stakes for his owners Dr Alex Lam Tai Keung and Chan Pui Fan. 

Chill Chibi is one of five winners in Hong Kong from six runners for our resident sire Wrote.

Standing for just $8,000, the Gr.1 Breeders Cup Turf Juvenile winning, and Group One producing son of High Chapparal has been hugely popular this season with the full book sign going up on him last month.
