Yarraman Park's I Am Invincible has hit top gear as we head towards Christmas and is now within striking distance of Snitzel in the race to be the leading Australian sire by winners.

His tally has soared to 75 winners achieved at the impressive strike rate of 42.9%, higher than any of his peers in the Top 10.
November and December have so far produced new stakes-winners I'm Wesley and Yulong Xingsheng, while Invincible Star and Eckstein both finished close seconds in Group I races at Flemington over the carnival.

2017 has brought a new level of success on the track and in the salering for I Am Invincible, whose first foals conceived at a higher fee of $27,500 sold at sales earlier this year and are two year-olds this season.
So far that crop has produced two winners from just 15 runners and includes leading Magic Millions contender La Pomme de Pin, stakes-placed Fiesta, Oohood and Santos, with a flurry of impressive trial winners in recent weeks suggesting I Am Invincible is poised for another brilliant showing with his juveniles, who last season included Magic Millions 2YO Classic winner Houtzen.
I Am Invincible had yearlings sell for $1.6 million, $1.5 million and $1.4 million in 2017 and his yearlings slated for sale in 2018 hold the promise of more big results.
This crop of yearlings were conceived at a $55,000 fee and on pedigree are a cut above what has gone before. Click here to see his Magic Millions draft featuring 44 youngsters.
