It’s probably no surprise to anyone that this stallion is the first to sire 100 Australian winners this season.
I Am Invincible moved to 101 winners for the season on Thursday
Yarraman Park’s I Am Invincible has come out of Magic Millions as the leading sire by average with 42 yearlings averaging $482,024 and he’s also number one where it really matters on the track in delivering winners.

I Am Invincible hit the milestone with a winning treble at Gosford on Thursday with wins for four year-old mare Tawaret,  three year-old colt Awesome Lad and four year-old gelding Perigord.

I Am Invincible is also now in hot pursuit of current leader by earnings Pierro as he is less than $100,000 behind the Golden Slipper winning son of Lonhro.

Tawaret was a $160,000 MM purchase from the Yarraman Park draft for Kepitis Bloodstock. Prepared by Chris Waller she broke though for her first win after placing second six times previously.

A homebred for Gooree Stud, Awesome Lad is a debut winner from the Kris Lees stable and is the first winner from imported Street Sense stakes-winner Sensible Lady (USA).

The Gerald Ryan trained Perigord notched his second win from nine starts and his first for Ryan having previously been trained by Bjorn Baker.

I Am Invincible was Australia’s most expensive sire last spring (service fee $247,500 ) and covered 182 of the best mares in the country including: Absolut Glam (G1), Aloha (G1), Black Caviar (G1), Bonaria (G1), Catchy (G1), Cosmic Endeavour (G1), Diademe (G1), Earthquake (G1), English (G1), First Seal (G1), Go Indy Go (G1), Guelph (G1), Heavens Above (G1), Lucia Valentina (G1), Miss Wilson (G1), Mossfun (G1), Princes Coup (G1), Prompt Response (G1), Royal Descent (G1), Rudd Awakening (G1), Samantha Miss (G1), Savaria (G1), Secret Agenda (G1), Shamal Wind (G1), Shillelagh (G1), Shoals (G1), Snitzeland (G1), Thee Auld Floozie (G1) and Winx (G1).

Also the dams of G1 winners Russian Revolution, Leicester, Astern and Alizee, Extreme Choice, Santa Ana Lane, Levendi, Shooting to Win, Booker, Inference, Summer Passage, Beauty Generation, Shoals and Winx.

Interesting to see a number of the best Godolphin mares in his book as well as Winx and her dam and Shoals and her dam, not to mention Black Caviar and her first born daughter Oscietra.

I cannot recall any stallion covering a book of mares quite like this!
