Gelded after those moderate efforts, Enforcement showed his true colours when resuming to win easily at Newcastle last month and was a class above when taking on city class juveniles on Saturday.
He jumped fast from an outside gate to take the lead and despite being pestered in the run by Memphis Rock, was far too good in the straight, dashing clear to win the 1200 metre sprint by nearly two lengths.
It would have been a tough decision to geld Enforcement, given he comes with big pedigree!
He is the first winner for stakes-winning Snitzel mare Express Power, a half-sister to the dam of stakes-winners Winner's Way, That's a Good Idea and Kneeling as well as the dam of Group I winner Ace High. Further back it's the family of legendary sire Danehill.
Yarraman Park sold a full sister to Enforcement at Inglis Easter this year to Hermitage Thoroughbreds for $360,000 and Express Power has a weanling filly to follow by I Am Invincible and is in foal to his Group I winning son Hellbent.
Enforcement is another talented juvenile for I Am Invincible, who is leading the Australian 2YO Sires List with progeny earnings in excess of $3.2million and eight 2YO stakes-winners.
