Three pronged Group One Assault for I Am Invincible in Dubai

I Am Invincible has three runners set to represent him in the Group One Al Quoz Sprint in Dubai on Saturday at the rich Dubai World Cup meeting.

Race 4 – Al Quoz Sprint (Group 1) 12.30am

Viddora
(I Am Invincible x Snow Flight (Colombia)) – Winner of the Gr1 Moir Stakes last spring. Has gone to Dubai off a first-up 8th, beaten three lengths in the Oakleigh Plate on Feb 23. Rated a $17 chance.

Wishful Thinker
(I Am Invincible x Zebithea (Barathea)) – Won two from six in Australia before going to Hong Kong where he is trained by Richard Gibson and in career best form with four wins from his last five starts. Rated a $17 chance.

Brave Smash
– Japanese bred runner trained in Australia by Kris Lees and headed to Dubai off his third to Sunlight in the Gr1 Newmarket Handicap on March 8. Rated a $21 chance.

Illustrious Lad
(I Am Invincible x Industrious (Zeditave)). Trained by Peter Gelagotis and rated a $41 chance.

Race 7 - Dubai Turf (Group 1) 2.20am

Southern Legend
(Not A Single Doubt x Donna Roberta (Vencedor)) – Had his first nine starts for Les Bridge in Australia before going to Hong Kong where he is now trained by Caspar Fownes. Has won four races in Hong Kong as well as the Group 1 Kranji Mile in Singapore. Placed in the Gr1 The Stewards Cup and Gr1 Hong Kong Gold Cup at his last two starts.

Two other interesting runners line up in the Dubai Gold Cup over two miles in Melbourne Cup winner Cross Counter and Melbourne Cup third placed Prince Of Arran.

It will be Cross Counter's first start since winning the Cup while Prince Of Arran finished fourth at Gr2 Dubai City Of Gold (2400m) on March 9. The Dubai Gold Cup is at 11.50pm.
