Three year-old More Than Ready (USA) gelding Ultra Boost opened his account in South Africa on Sunday saluting at Greyville as favourite.

Ultra Boost as a yearlingTrained by J A Janse van Vuuren, Ultra Boost scored a half length win in the 1200 metre maiden at his second start.

Passed in by Blue Gum Farm at the Inglis Premier Yearling Sale shy of a $180,000 reserve, Ultra Boost is the second winner from Film School, an unraced half-sister by Encosta de Lago to Group I winner Rock Classic.
