Tara Madgwick - Tuesday October 23
This $1million Exceed and Excel filly was last on debut at Flemington last month, but turned that form around to score an easy two length win at Kilmore on Tuesday.

Kings Iris as a yearlingA $1million Inglis Easter purchase for Moody Racing from the Bhima Thoroughbreds draft, three year-old Exceed and Excel filly Kings Irish runs for Peter Moody, Sir Patrick Hogan and Dr Gene Tsoi, who raced her three-quarter sister King’s Rose.

The David Brideaoke trained filly improved sharply at her second outing leading all the way to win the 1212 metre maiden by two lengths, despite being easy in the market.

Kings Iris is a three-quarter sister to Group I winner King’s Rose (dam of Japanese Group III winner Satono Arthur) and Group II winner Hardham being the seventh winner from stakes-placed Nureyev’s Girl, who died in 2016.

Her last foal is a two year-old filly by Snitzel.
