Yarraman Park's I Am Invincible has skipped to a clear lead on the Australian 2YO Sires List by winners after posting his 23rd Australian juvenile winner at Ipswich on Wednesday with an impressive debut win for Asharani.

Asharani as a yearlingThe David Vandyke trained filly was a short priced favourite on the strength of two promising barrier trial wins and looked even better on race day dashing clear for a dominant two and a half length win in the 1200 metre sprint.

A $440,000 Inglis Easter purchase from the Canning Downs draft for David Lucas/ Phoenix Thoroughbreds, Asharani is the seventh winner from seven foals to race from good producing stakes-winner Fuji Dancer.

I Am Invincible's 23 two year-old winners include four stakes-winners – Pure Elation, Santos, Paquirri and Fiesta, not to mention Australia's best maiden Oohood, a place-getter in the Golden Slipper, Blue Diamond and ATC Sires Produce Stakes.

I Am Invincible is fully booked this spring at Yarraman Park at a fee of $192,500.
