Not a Single Doubt Throws Down the Challenge

Tara Madgwick - Monday June 18
Young gun sire sensation Spirit of Boom has been setting a cracking pace as the leading sire of two year-old winners in the country this season, but had a rival draw level with him on 17 winners on Monday.

Not a Single DoubtArrowfield Stud's Not a Single Doubt has had a hot season with his Aussie juveniles and racked up his 17th winner when Cupidity scored a debut win at Moe for the Mick Kent stable.

Well fancied, despite the lack of any official trial form, Cupidity won the 117 metre juvenile maiden by a head after ploughing through the heavy 10 conditions.

A $150,000 Magic Million National Yearling Sale purchase for her trainer from the Corumbene Stud draft, Cupidity is a half-sister to stakes-placed Donelle and smart winner Casadee being the third winner from well bred Zabeel mare Avarice.

Not a Single Doubt's 17 winners have come from just 29 runners which is the least runners of any of the top five two year-old sires by winners.

A year older than his Arrowfield barn mate Snitzel, Not a Single Doubt has also had a good season across the board holding down sixth place on the Australian General Sires List with progeny earnings topping $10million and 16 stakes-winners.

Not a Single Doubt stands at a fee of $99,000 in 2018, which is the highest price he has ever commanded.
