Tara Talks Racing - We Chat with the Breeder of Raging Force

Tara Madgwick - Monday September 1

The Group III ATC San Domenico Stakes was won last Saturday by exciting Cosmic Force gelding Raging Force, so this week we’re chatting to his breeder Dr Richard McClenahan of Mullaglass Stud, who has a self-confessed ‘mare addiction’!

Richard sold Raging Force for $150,000 to Darby Racing at Inglis Classic and he and his wife Kim liked him so much they decided to keep a share!

They were at Muswellbrook when Raging Force cast off maiden status on June 1 with a dazzling win and here we are three months later and this Peter Snowden trained gelding has just knocked off gun colts Wodeton, Beiwacht, Rivellino and Devil Night to win his first stakes race.

Did Richard think he would be in this position now?
