Rosehill Double for All Too Hard

Tara Madgwick - Wednesday February 28
Promising staying filly All Too Soon was the first leg of a winning double at Rosehill on Wednesday for Vinery Stud's All Too Hard.

A 'One to Watch' when scoring at her first run back from a break at Kembla on February 6, the David Payne trained filly surged to the line to beat the favourite by half a length in the 1800 metre Benchmark 71 event.

All Too HardAll Too Soon has now won her past three starts and over $111,000 in prizemoney with Black Type goals ahead on her agenda.

Retained to race by her breeder John Cordina after passing in at Inglis Easter, All Too Soon is a half-sister to stakes-winner Rock Hero and is from Mr Cordina's former high class Group II winning Galileo (IRE) mare Gallant Tess.

Also trained by David Payne, Gallant Tess won over $800,000 in prizemoney and was Group I placed on five occasions.

The current yearling from Gallant Tess is a colt by Snitzel that will be offered at Inglis Easter by Kitchwin Hills as Lot 148.

Making it a double for All Too Hard was the Kris Lees trained Waimea Bay, who scored over 1400 metres by more than a length taking her record to three wins and two seconds from just six starts.

A $200,000 Inglis Easter purchase for James Bester from the Kia Ora draft, Waimea Bay is the first winner for US bred Stravinsky stakes-winner Waveline (USA)

All Too Hard has 15 entries for the Inglis Premier Yearling Sale starting this Sunday.
