Group Two Todman Next for Sebring Colt

Tara Madgwick - Wednesday February 28
Young Randwick trainer Ed O'Rourke posted his first metropolitan winner when talented Sebring colt Ringerdingding did everything right to win a very competitive juvenile maiden at Rosehill on Wednesday.

While the unruly Chabreet veered to the outside after turning for home, interfering with race favourite Wagner, Ringerdingding coasted through along the inside to score a stylish victory in the 1100 metre dash.

Inglis Premier graduate Ringerdingding as a yearlingWith three trials since the start of the year for two wins and a second, Ringerdingding was well educated for his debut and reaped the rewards.

"His trial form was very strong and he couldn't have gone any better today," said O'Rourke.

"We've always thought a lot of him. He'll go to the Todman (Group II at Randwick on March 10) and we'll see where we go from there."

A $170,000 Inglis Premier purchase from the Three Bridges Thoroughbreds draft for B2B Bloodstock, Ringerdingding was bred by Three Bridges in partnership as they purchased her dam Maybe I through Paul Willetts for $120,000 at the Inglis Broodmare Sale in 2015.

Ringerdingding is the second winner for Group III placed Red Ransom (USA) mare Maybe I, a grand-daughter of dual Group I winner Flitter.

Three Bridges Thoroughbreds will offer the current yearling from Maybe I, a filly by Unencumbered, at the Inglis Premier Yearling Sale as Lot 743 and she is pictured below.
