Zoustar Colts a Bowness Stud Drawcard

A proven source of Group I winners including current season three year-old Trapeze Artist, Bowness Stud are offering an outstanding draft of eight for the 2018 Inglis Premier Yearling Sale including three stunning colts by the current leading Australian 2YO Sire Zoustar.

Splitting his time between Widden Stud in the Hunter Valley and Woodside Park Stud in Victoria, Zoustar is the sire of the best two year-old filly in the country in Sunlight.

He is also the sire of the first three horses to be offered by Bowness Stud at this sale with the three colts below sure to get John North and his team away to a flying start at Oaklands.

Lot 46 Colt Zoustar x Rosarino – Half-brother to stakes-placed Heavy from stakes-winner Rosarino.



Lot 271 Colt Zoustar x Bionic Girl – Half-brother to stakes-placed Bionics from the family of brilliant Group III winning sprinter Chong Tong, who is by Zoustar's grand-sire Encosta de Lago.



Lot 381 Colt Zoustar x Fascinating – Owes his chestnut colouring to dam sire Choisir and is the first foal of a winning sister to juvenile stakes-winner Choistar.



The remaining five youngsters are no less appealing with four by popular first season sires and a gorgeous filly by So You Think.

Lot 570 Colt Deep Field x Permaiscuous – Half-brother to three winners from Group III winner Permaiscuous, who was second to Miss Finland in the Group I MRC Thousand Guineas.



Lot 675 Colt Wandjina x Claystone – Half-brother to three winners from the family of Group I winner and $2.5 million earner Hauraki.



Lot 710 Filly Brazen Beau x Hi Belle – Second foal of classy Group II winning mare Hi Belle, an eight time winner of over $500,000 in prizemoney.
