$1.1million earner Arkansaw Kid has a full brother entered for NZB Ready to Run - image Grant Courtney

Arkansaw Kid didn’t quite win at Moonee Valley last Saturday in the Listed MVRC Chautauqua Stakes , but the four year-old son of Harry Angel (IRE) has come back in great form as a gelding this spring winning his previous start in stakes company, while another newly gelded son of Harry Angel in Tom Kitten is early favourite for the Group I ATC Epsom Handicap.

Also set to fly the Harry Angel flag this spring is another exciting three year-old colt in Angel Capital, who kicked off his spring with a win in the Listed MRC McKenzie Stakes last Saturday.

A champion sprinter that is back at Darley Australia this season at an increased fee, Harry Angel has three entries for this year’s Ready to Run and they include Lot 372, a colt from Florabella that is a full brother to Arkansaw Kid and will be offered by Ohukia Lodge.

Florabella has been a great producer leaving five winners from six to race and Arkansaw Kid has won over $1.1million in prizemoney.

Also by Harry Angel are two more colts from young well credentialled mares.

Lot 306 – colt from Cambric offered by Kilgravin Lodge.

First foal of a half-sister to Group III placed Orhanza from the family of Group I MRC Caulfield Guineas winner Long John.

Lot 379 – colt from Forever Calm offered by BMD Bloodstock.

First foal of a half-sister to stakes-winner Special Missile from imported stakes-winner Quiet Meadow (USA).

The 2024 edition of the Ready to Run Sale will take place at the Karaka Sales Centre from 11am (NZT) on 20 & 21 November with Breeze Ups to be held at Te Rapa Racecourse on 21 & 22 October.
