Lovatsville On Parade

Breednet - Friday August 16

Young Victorian farm Lovatsville has enjoyed a brilliant first year in operation and their stallions were in fine shape when parading for a big crowd on Thursday.

A stallion based farm founded by Sam White who, alongside operations manager Brian Byrnes, has an impressive roster heading into 2024 highlighted by last season’s Victorian Champion First Season Sire Royal Meeting.

A Group One winning 2YO and now sire of Blue Diamond winner Hayasugi, the farm has quite aggressively priced Royal Meeting at a very appealing $22,000 which should see him attract a strong book into his fourth season.

Lovatsville is kicking of two new stallions this season with two-year-old speed in Generation and the top class stayer Gold Trip.

Generation, by Snitzel out of high quality 2YO Fontiton, was unbeaten in two starts at two and twice a Group Three winner at three, and also notably 4th in the Gr1 William Reid Stakes at three and 4th in the Gr1 Moir Stakes at four.

He stands his first season at $11,000.

Generation

Gold Trip needs no introduction being the Melbourne Cup hero of 2022 and proved his class when returning in 2023 to win the Gr1 Turnbull Stakes over 2000m. Interestingly that saw him become the last horse to beat the mighty Romantic Warrior.

He's standing this season at a fee of $8,800.

Gold Trip

Fierce Impact will be having his first runners this year and the three-time Group One winning miler will have strong numbers having served over 400 mares in his first three seasons.

His yearlings sold to $310,000 in their first sale ring appearances and he looked in outstanding shape at the parade. He's standing 2024 at a fee of $13,750.
