The daughter of Merchant Navy showed high class ability at two and her almost three length win in the Magic Night Stakes at Rosehill saw her line up at her next run in the Golden Slipper - a run that was hampered by an outside barrier.

As well as her first class race record, Steel City possesses a first class pedigree. She is a half sister to multiple Group One winner September Run and is from a group winning Street Cry mare.

International Group winner Have a Good Day, a part of the Yarraman Park Stud draft, will be offered in foal to world champion sire Frankel.

A winner of the Group Three Prix de Cabourg at Deauville in France, the Irish bred Have a Good Day will be the only Group winning mare in foal to champion sire Frankel offered in Australia in 2024.
