Kia Ora Stud Sponsoring for Equimillion

Tara Madgwick - Friday August 2

Kia Ora Stud are proud to be sponsoring Allie Hopkins and her gorgeous little mare Frontier Zou at Equimillion 2024.

Allie and Frontier Zou, also known as Pearl, have been partners since 2022, and Allie has been riding off-the-track thoroughbreds and competing in the show ring since 2014.

Their newcomer year in the show ring together in 2023 proved Pearl has what it takes. Since then, she has been awarded several competitive show horse titles, including the Newcomer Small Hack at the 2023 Thoroughbred Sport Horse Association Nationals and the Highly Commended ‘F L Crane Trophy’ for Best Thoroughbred Mare at the Sydney Royal Easter Show in 2024.

Frontier Zou is by Zizou out of Frontier Girl (NZ), and despite not being competitive on the racetrack, she is shining in her new show horse career with Allie, who believes that thoroughbreds’ trainability, temperament, determination and versatility make them ideal competitors not only in racing but in all equestrian sports.

Good luck Allie and Frontier Zou!
