Choisir added a new stakes-winner to his tally with a victory in the Listed Fairview Wines Sophomore Sprint at Kenilworth on Saturday for Sir Frenchie, while promising Your Song filly Intothelimelight claimed her second win on the same program.

Prepared by Justin Snaith, Sir Frenchie was Group III placed previously and turned in a career best performance to win the 1200 metre sprint by a head.

ChoisirAn $82,500 Magic Millions Adelaide purchase for Paul Lafferty from the Attunga Stud draft, Sir Frenchie is the first winner for metro winning Viscount mare Volando, a half-sister to Group II winner Vezalay.

Sir Frenchie is the 87th stakes-winner for Choisir and is another success for the double Danehill as his grand-dam Tactfully is by Flying Spur.

Winning the previous race was progressive Your Song filly Intothe limelight, who posted her second win from five starts when saluting over 2000 metres against older mares.

Trained by Candice Bass-Robinson, she scored by three quarters of a length as favourite.

A $55,000 Magic Millions National Yearling Sale purchase from the Widden Stud draft for World Wide Bloodstock, Intothelimelight is the first winner for Fun Flight, a half-sister by Anabaa (USA) to Group winners Sanziro and Flying Object from Group II winner Will Fly.
