Rising Tasmanian Sprint Star for I am Invincible

Tara Madgwick - Thursday November 16
I Am Invincible added a new stakes-winner to his tally with progressive sprinter I'm Wesley taking out the $100,000 Listed Newmarket Quality at Launceston on Wednesday.

I Am InvinciblePrepared by Glenn Stevenson, I'm Wesley broke the track record for 1200 metres at the track at his previous start and went right on with the job in this tougher assignment.

Sent out favourite, I'm Wesley travelled just behind the leaders and powered home to win by a length taking his overall record to 10 wins and eight placings from 26 starts with prizemoney just shy of $190,000.

I'm Wesley is undefeated since resuming from a spell on August 6, reeling off five successive wins!

An $8,000 Inglis Great Southern Weanling Sale purchase for his trainer from the Shadwell Farm draft, I'm Wesley is the best of three winners from Daniela, a minor winning Danehill grand-daughter of US Group I winner Some Romance.

I'm Wesley is the 23rd stakes-winner for Yarraman Park's I Am Invincible, who is fully booked this spring at a fee of $110,000.
