Sires by Bloodline – Street Cry

Tara Madgwick - Wednesday June 28

When Street Cry (IRE) arrived in Australia for the first time 20 years ago as a Group I Dubai World Cup winner by Machiavellian, Australian breeders had no clue what to make of him, but his sireline delivered six Australian Group I winners this season including the best of them in Anamoe, so it’s time to get on board or get left behind.

Street Cry (IRE) has been a pivotal shuttle sire for Australia and gave us our best ever racehorse Winx.

The sire sons of Street Cry have enjoyed G1 success this season with Anamoe (Street Boss (USA), Dubai Honour (IRE) (Pride of Dubai), Bella Nipotina (Pride of Dubai), Little Brose (Per Incanto (USA), Roch ‘n’ Horse (Per Incanto (USA) and I’m Thunderstruck (Shocking).

Per Incanto (USA) sired two Aussie G1 winners this season.

Darley based Street Boss and Little Avondale Stud’s Per Incanto were two of the first sons of Street Cry at stud and have both carved out successful careers in Australia/ USA and New Zealand, while Pride of Dubai has had his ups and downs but outstanding results this year will see him back in favour at Coolmore this spring.

The big hope of this sireline lies with Anamoe, who will attempt to follow in the footsteps of past proper champion racehorses that have achieved super stud success in the vein of Lonhro and So You Think. Anamoe has everything you could possibly want in a racehorse and has the pedigree to back him up, so let’s all cheer him on!

Anamoe will be a rock star at the Darley stallion parades this spring!
