First Foal for Oxley Road

Victoria’s Blue Gum Farm have announced the first foal for their freshman stallion Oxley Road overnight.

A chestnut colt, he is the second foal of Reliable Man mare Aguante, a daughter of Group I Levin Stakes winner Keepa Cruisin.

A horse with brilliant speed on the track, Oxley Road was a winner of the Group II Zeditave Stakes at three, the Group III Caulfield Sprint at four and placed in the Group I Oakleigh Plate.

A full brother to Exceedance, he is entering his second season at Blue Gum at a fee of $6,600.
