Opportunities Aplenty at Perth Winter Sale

The opportunities will come thick and fast later this month when the Swan Valley hosts the 2022 Magic Millions Perth Winter Sale.

To be held on Sunday, June 26 from 12 noon, the sales will boast over 140 lots featuring a great mix of thoroughbreds including weanlings, yearlings, racehorses and broodmares and a 33 lot Yarradale Stud Unreserved Reduction draft. 

The Perth Winter Yearling Sale comprises 58 lots for buyers looking for the last chance to purchase an eligible youngster for the $14+ million Magic Millions Race Series. 32 individual sires are represented including So You Think, Russian Revolution, Nicconi, War Chant, Maschino, I'm All The Talk, Playing God, Smart Missile and Safeguard. 
 


Yearlings catalogued include (at least half) relations to racetrack stars including Clearly Innocent, Kissonallforcheeks and Platoon.

Following the yearlings, the Perth Winter Racehorse Sale will feature proven metropolitan winners.

The Thoroughbred Sale later in the afternoon comprises a great selection of weanlings and broodmares. Among the weanlings are youngsters by sires including All American, Ducimus, Lucky Street, Safeguard, War Chant.

Mares catalogued include stakes performers and producers believed in foal to sires including All American, Bradbury's Luck, Ducimus, Gingerbread Man, I'm All The Talk, Jimmy Choux, Long Leaf, Maschino, My Admiration, Playing God, Rommel, Safeguard and War Chant. 

"There's a great selection of stock catalogued," Magic Millions WA Manager David Houston reported. "From stakes winning mares to untapped weanlings there's something for everyone.”
