Pedigree Watch – Ireland, UK – Guineas Treble for Godolphin

Godolphin pulled off a unique achievement at The Curragh overnight winning the Group I Irish 2,000 Guineas (1m) with Native Trail, his victory following on from their previous wins this year in the Newmarket 2,000 Guineas with Coroebus (Dubawi) and the French 2,000 Guineas with Modern Games (Dubawi).

The Champion 2YO Colt last season, the Charlie Appleby trained son of Oasis Dream won the Group III Craven Stakes when resuming this year and then was second to Coroebus in the Newmarket 2,000 Guineas.

Ridden by William Buick, he scored an easy length and three-quarter win and has the mimpressive record of six wins from seven starts.

Bought for 210,000 guineas from the Tattersalls Craven Breeze Up Sale last year by Godolphin, Native Trail I sone of 18 Group I winners by Oasis Dream, who at age 22 is still on the Banstead Manor roster at a fee of 20,000 pounds.
