Triple Trio for Grand Dame

Media Release - Thursday April 21

Dorrington Farm’s grand old mare, Palatine Hill, will have three – yes, THREE – runners in 24 hours.

Tomorrow (Friday) at Werribee, Prince of Rome will go around for Waterhouse / Bott, while on Saturday, Pal d’Oro and Juniper – both racing for the Maher / Eustace stable – will give it a fly at Caulfield.

Palatine Hill is also the dam of multiple Group 1 winner & sire, Palentino, while the mare’s most recent yearling – by Mikki Isle – was sold to Lindsay Park Racing by Dorrington Farm for $130,000 through for the Blue Gum draft at the Inglis Melbourne Premier Yearling Sale.

Mikkie Isle (Jpn) yearling colt from Palatine Hill sold this year at Inglis Premier.

Palatine Hill has her final foal – a filly by Toronado – selling at the Inglis Great Southern in June.
