Little Avondale Stud Announce Fees

Media Release - Wednesday April 20

Little Avondale Stud stallion Per Incanto (USA) has enjoyed a spectacular 2021/22 season with 14 stakes performers headed by the Group One winning exploits of memorable Newmarket Handicap (1200m) winner Roch ‘N’ Horse.

Per Incanto will stand at a fee of $55,000 inc. GST

Per Incanto’s son Justacanta was another to take big race spoils when winning down the Flemington straight in the Gr.2 Linlithgow Stakes (1200m).

A son of Street Cry, Per Incanto added four new Australian Group winners for the season, which also included Lost And Running, the third-highest rated New Zealand-bred on the Longines 2022 World Rankings.

The winner of A$2.3 million in stakes, Lost And Running has won eight of his 14 starts including the Gr.3 Southern Cross Stakes (1200m).

Ultra-consistent Group Three winning mare Belluci Babe is another by the Little Avondale Stud stallion, boasting fourth placings in both the Gr.1 T.J. Smith Stakes (1200m) and Gr.1 Galaxy Handicap (1100m).

Per Incanto is well on his way to consecutive Hong Kong Sires’ Premierships for winners and wins totalling a lifetime runner to winner ratio in Hong Kong of 76%.

The progeny of the outstanding stallion have continued to prove popular in the sale ring, with his 12 yearlings sold in Australia averaging NZ$207,000 and he had an overall Australasian sale average of NZ$147,000 for 37 sold.

Per Incanto will serve a restricted book in 2022 at a service fee of $50,000 plus GST with a live foal guarantee.

The famed Wairarapa nursey will also again welcome shuttle stallion Time Test, Europe’s leading freshman sire of two-year-old stakes winners in 2021 and the only sire of three runners in New Zealand’s richest race, the Karaka Million, this year.

Off the mark with two-year-old winners in New Zealand and Australia, the progeny of Time Test proved popular across the 2022 Australasian yearling sales averaging NZ$70,000 for 28 yearlings sold.

Time Test will stand for a service fee of $10,000 plus GST this season.

Completing the roster for Sam and Catriona Williams’ Little Avondale Stud is the evergreen stallion Nadeem at $4,000 plus GST with a live foal guarantee, whose flagbearers this season have included Sir Nate, Mohaka and Wild Moose.
