There have been some significant recent pedigree updates ahead of the sale, none more so than Coolangatta in last weekend’s G1 Golden Slipper.

Milburn Creek will offer a Dundeel half sister to Coolangatta (ex Piping Hot), now G1 placed after finishing third to Fireburn in Saturday’s $5m 2YO feature.

Half-sister by Dundeel to Coolangatta.

The filly will be offered as lot 350 and is pictured above.

Other recent updates include:

*Lot 169 is an I Am Invincible half brother (ex Fireworks) to the exciting 2YO Millane, a Stakes winner at his only start at Flemington recently. He will be offered by Segenhoe Stud

*Lot 175 is a Kingman half sister (ex Florentina) to G3 winner In Italian who is now a winner of three of her four career starts for Peter Brant and Chad Brown. She will be offered by Davali Thoroughbreds

*Lot 189 is a Justify filly (ex Galizani) whose dam is a half sister to the dam of G1 Golden Slipper winner Fireburn. She will be offered by Edinglassie Stud

*Lot 377 is a brother to exciting Group placed 2YO Magic (Snitzel ex Rising Romance) who is amongst the favourites for the upcoming G1 Inglis Sires’ Produce Stakes.

“The catalogue was fantastic when it was finalised and recent racecourse results have seen it get better and better,” Inglis Bloodstock CEO Sebastian Hutch said.

“Obviously the sale has earned a reputation that is synonymous with the best yearlings, and justifiably so, but it has always been a sale at which great value can be found at all levels and I strongly encourage buyers and investors to be cognisant of that.

“Last year’s Easter Sale was an incredible sale, but there were 142 yearlings to sell for $200,000 or less and 47 that sold for $100,000 or less, with plenty of great buying amongst those horses.

“The focus when putting the sale together is to assemble as many nice yearlings as possible and plenty of those horses fall into an affordable price range.

“There are eight G1 winners which could have been purchased for $200,000 or less at Easter since 2018, horses like top-class colt Exceedance, fillies like Mizzy, Aristia, Nettoyer and Funstar who have either sold for incredible money as broodmares or are proving invaluable to their ownership group as breeding prospects.

“Some of the best Easter stories have been through the likes of Flying Artie, Egg Tart, Pinot, Greysful Glamour, Formality, Fasika, Overpass, Rocha Clock, Holbein and many others, all top-class racehorses and significant earners for their connections who could have been bought at Easter for $200,000 or less.

“Make no mistake, there is going to be so much value on offer for buyers at the sale and we can’t wait for it to get started.’’
