Collingrove Stud to Sell at Premier

Daniel Brash and his team at Murchison based Collingrove Stud will be run off their feet with a crackerjack draft of 28 yearlings to be offered at Inglis Premier that includes the progeny of many of Victoria’s leading sires including three by Toronado (IRE) .

Collingrove are hosting clients at Premier this year for the first time offering warm hospitality at their marquee.

Inspections are going well for Collingrove Stud.

"Promising results from yearlings prepared for sale so far are encouraging and have led to growing support from our clients with a draft of 16 headed to Magic Millions Adelaide next month including 11 for Arrowfield Stud," said Daniel Brash.

Collingrove Stud have achieved good results on the track from their first draft presented in 2020.

"Our 2020 prepared yearlings have had nine  starters for six winners ( two others  have placed) and they include Zeditave Stakes runner Chartres and the promising Healing Game,Station One and possible South Australian Oaks bound Alors Tu Crois," Brash added.

Lot 106 Filly Impending x Miss Robbie, by Not a Single Doubt

From the second crop of Impending, already the sire of promising winner Sir Bailey. First foal of well bred Not a Single Doubt mare that comes from the family of Group I winners Vow and Declare, Hauraki and Kidnapped.

Lot 213 Filly Toronado (IRE) x Seagrove, by Exceed and Excel

By outstanding Group I sire Toronado and is from well bred Exceed and Excel sibling to stakes performers San Diego and Soledad from the family of Group I winner Hill of Grace.

This filly is a half-sister to promising 3YO filly Choix de la Mer (Extreme Choice), who was an unlucky third at Wyong last week for the Peter and Paul Snowden stable and has better things to come.

Lot 391 Filly Extreme Choice x Bloodlette, by Authorized (IRE)


One of only three fillies in the sale by exciting young sire Extreme Choice.

First foal of a winning half-sister to dual Group I winner and $1.3million earner Platelet, who produced a debut winner at Moonee Valley on February 11 in Plagiarized (3g Exceed and Excel).

Lot 428 Colt Highland Reel (IRE) x Circus Polka, by Stavinsky (USA)


From the second crop of Galileo’s champion son Highland Reel and is a half-brother to Group II placed Modoc and classy Hong Kong winner Master Montaro.

Dam is a winning half-sister to dual Group I winner Prized Icon from a prolific Goroee Stud Black Type family that has also produced Group winners Matras, Romantic Moon and Kabayan.

Lot 577 Colt Lean Mean Machine x I’m a Flying Star, by Starcraft
 

From the first crop of Zoustar’s Group II winning son Lean Mean Machine, who was the leading first season sire by average at Inglis Classic. Third foal of a metro winning half-sister to the dam of stakes-winner Lady Jivago.

This filly comes from the Singles Bar branch of the Easy Date family that has produced Group I winners King’s Legacy, Oohood and leading sire Not a Single Doubt.

Lot 738 Colt Overshare x Canon Law, by Commands


From the second crop of Overshare, sire of brilliant filly Lady Laguna, who runs in the Group II ATC Sweet Embrace Stakes on Saturday.

Half-brother to three winners and has some interesting line breeding as he is from the female family of I Am Invincible, who is the sire of his sire Overshare.
