The Dean Jackson-trained Annandale Lass will have the blinkers back on when she takes her place in the $35,000 Godolphin Tiara F&M Benchmark 72 Handicap (1280m).

Blinkers on for the first time and blinkers back on has occurred four times in Annandale Lass's 60 career starts.

Annandale Lass wore the blinkers for the first time in a race at Morphettville Parks on the 20 June 2015 finishing runner-up and achieved a similar result at Scone on 29 September 2015.

Annandale Lass had the blinkers again on February 2 2016 with the mare duly saluting at Taree with the last time a similar gear change occurring Annandale Lass overcoming a wide run in transit to win at Tamworth on July 10 2017.

Annandale Lass hasn't won in seven runs since the Tamworth victory but has finished second on two occasions and hasn't been far from the winner in open company races at Murwillumbah and Mudgee in her two most recent outings.

Annandale Lass is a winner at the track and distance and is drawn to get all the favours in the run from barrier 4 and is in with a winning weight after the 2kg claim for apprentice Chelsea Ings.

Annandale Lass has some strong opposition to overcome on Sunday but the proven gear change suggests she is well over the odds and genuine each-way value.
