Each week Racenet's video review analysts highlight a runner from each state to follow and here are the horses recently blackbooked that are racing around Australia on Saturday.

This new segment will be a weekly regular and we will follow the horses in their two subsequent starts to being blackbooked.

ROSEHILL

TANGO RAIN (Race 3 No. 3)
The horse was blackbooked at the Randwick meeting on August 5 and our analyst said : Thought the Gerald Ryan-trained galloper did enough at his first run back from a break to suggest there is another win in store this preparation. A winner of two of his four career starts, Tango Rain was prominent in betting on the back of a solid trial win but couldn't overcome the outside barrier draw and a wide run in transit when third to Sangiovese and Launch Code. With the run under his belt, Tango Rain will take plenty of beating next time he steps out. Connections could be tempted to head to the Show County Quality (1200m) at Randwick on August 19 but there are a couple of nice benchmark races at Rosehill on August 26 with three weeks between runs.

MOONEE VALLEY

SIN TO WIN (Race 4 No. 12)
The horse was blackbooked at the Flemington meeting on August 5 and our analyst said : We usually try to avoid the obvious but this former Kiwi could be a real money spinner over his next few starts and even onto better races as we get deeper into the spring. He was resuming off nearly a six-month spell over 1400 metres, he took up a good spot midfield and let down powerfully closing hard right through the line. Only lightly raced for a five-year-old so he's still got plenty of upside and already a winner over a mile, he'll only improve as he steps out over a bit longer. Eligible for easier races, he can string a few wins together as he charges through the grades.

O'RACHAEL (Race 2 No. 12)
The horse was blackbooked at the Flemington meeting on July 15 and our analyst said : Former Kiwi trained by Chris Waller and showed encouraging signs on Saturday getting back onto a dry track after failing first-up in Sydney on heavy ground. She went well back to get in from the wide gate and was still near enough to last on the turn. She got a slight steady just as she was starting to wind up inside the 200 metres and still ran close to the best final sectional in the race. Right at her top now and capable of racing much closer from a better gate, she can be followed with confidence her next few starts so long as we remain on relatively dry tracks.

THIS IS THE SECOND RUN SINCE BEING BLACKBOOKED – LAST CHANCE
Last start at Flemington on August 12 she didn’t handle the step up in distance to 1400m and only battled in the straight to finish fifth beaten 6-1/4 lengths. Might be more suited back to the 1200m here.

GOLD COAST

OUTRAGED (Race 4 No.4)
The horse was blackbooked at the Doomben meeting on July 29 and our analyst said : Was resuming from a let-up in a 1350m Open Handicap and Lani Fancourt dropped him out the back and let him find his feet. He was 10 lengths off them at the 600m but found some inside runs and charged home to be beaten half a length and may well have won had he not been slightly crowded in the final stages. He will need some more racing but invariably picks up at least one race per preparation and against the current lot of Brisbane middle-distance horses shouldn't find that too difficult.

Last start at Doomben on August 19 finished second over 1600m. Was held up at the 300m, shifted in 200m and ran on near rail to just miss. Suited more out to 1800m here.
