Singspiel Son Singing to Stand at Thunder Ridge

Media Release - Thursday September 19
French Import  SINGING (FR), a son of leading sire Singspiel is being relocated to Thunder Ridge Stud at Deuchar (Warwick) Queensland and will be available to selected staying mares for a $2,000 fee.

SingingThunder Ridge Stud is a private stud but will consider serving selected staying mares with this stallion in his first season at stud.

As staying pedigrees are scarce in Queensland we are sure he will attract some nice mares.

Singing amassed nearly half a million in prize money around the world before coming to Australia for Australian Bloodstock to be trained by Kris Lees. He has a very strong French staying pedigree and raced successfully all over Europe and ran second to Melbourne Cup winner Protectionist in a Group II event in Germany.

In Australia, his biggest success came in the Listed Gosford Gold Cup.
