Treble of Winners for Deep Field

Exciting young sire Deep Field sired three winners over the weekend headed by his talented three year-old Californiadeepshot, who kept his undefeated record intact with anther impressive win at Kembla, where he broke the track record on debut last month.

Deep FieldThe Peter and Paul Snowden trained colt powered home to win over 1200 metres by more than a length as favourite and is now two for two.

A $260,000 Inglis Easter purchase for Asian Bloodstock Services from the Coolmore draft, Californiadeepshot runs for Hong Kong based owner Howard Liang and is a half-brother to Group I placed Reemah from former brilliant Group II winning Testa Rossa mare Vormista.

Also breaking his maiden on the program was the David Payne trained Dummy Run, who saluted over 1600 metres.

Deep Field has run away from his peers since the start of the season posting 11 winners which is nearly double that of his nearest rival.

Deep Field stands at Newgate Farm at a fee of $44,000 this spring.
