Ready2Race Purchase Impressive on Debut

Tara Madgwick - Tuesday July 23
Ready to run two year-old sales are just around the corner and providing a great advertisement for the Inglis Ready2Race Sale at Wyong on Tuesday was impressive debut winner Street Scream, a $230,000 purchase from the sale in 2018 for his trainer Kim Waugh.

Street BossA two year-old gelding by Street Boss (USA), Street Scream had shown good ability in recent trials and was a hot favourite in the 1200 metre maiden. He led all the way and won as he pleased by three lengths.

Street Scream runs for Orbis Bloodstock and is the second winner from La Kalima, a Tuscany Flyer daughter of Group I placed La Zip.

He looks a bright prospect for Street Cry's Group I winning son Street Boss, best known as the sire of Group I VRC Newmarket Handicap winner The Quarterback.

Street Boss stands at Darley Victoria at a fee of $27,500.
