Stepped up to 1400 metres at his third starter and second run back from a
spell, Hezaten was sent out favourite and powered home from back in the field
to win by half a neck beating older rivals.Hezafox was passed in as a yearling and retained to race by a syndicate that includes his breeder.
The seventh two year-old winner this season for Foxwedge, Hezafox is from Shezaten, a half-sister to Group II winner Bird of Fire by Handsome Ransom.
A proven Group I producing son of champion sire Fastnet Rock, Foxwedge stands at Woodside Park this spring at a fee of $16,500.
