No Dry July for Foxwedge

Tara Madgwick - Wednesday July 10
Relocated to Woodside Park Stud in Victoria, Foxwedge has been making every post a winner this month siring his eighth winner for July when the Tony McEvoy trained two year-old Marndarra scored a dominant win at Morphettville on Wednesday as a hot favourite.

Marndarra as a yearlingSecond on debut last month, she relished the step out to 1550 metres and overcame an outside gate to surge forward and race clear at the finish to win by a length and a quarter.

A $250,000 Magic Millions purchase from the Highgrove Stud draft for McEvoy Mitchell Racing, Marndarra is the first winner from Group II placed Snitzel mare Tornado Miss, who was a winner up to 1650 metres.
