Vinery Blueblood Brings Another Win for All Too Hard

Tara Madgwick - Tuesday June 25
Bred and retained to race by Vinery Stud, blue-blooded two year-old filly Night Flyer made light of the heavy ground at Hawkesbury on Thursday to keep the winning run going for her sire All Too Hard.

All Too HardSecond and fourth at her first two starts for the Brad Widdup stable, Night Flyer had experience and fitness on her side in the 1100 metre maiden and was too strong in scoring by three lengths.

Night Flyer is the third foal to race and third winner from Group II winner Night War, a half-sister by General Nediym to dual Group I winner Samaready, the dam of this year's Magic Millions 2YOB Classic winner Exhilarate.

Vinery sold a yearling colt by Press Statement from Night War at Inglis Classic this year for $135,000 to Ciaron Maher Bloodstock and she has a weanling colt to follow by All Too Hard.

All Too Hard maintains a 63% winners-to-runners career strike rate and he leads third season sires for wins in Australia this season (172). The record in that category – Smart Missile (180) – is well within his sights before July 31.

One of the best value sires in the Hunter this spring, All Too Hard stands at a fee of $27,500.
