South African SW for All Too Hard

The Listed East Coast Cup at Greyville in South Africa on Saturday was won by four year-old All Too Hard mare Roy's Riviera.

All Too HardTrained by Frank Robinson for prolific South African owner Roy Moodley, Roy's Riviera scored a half length win in the 2000 metre feature, her fourth victory in 21 starts.

Stakes-placed three times previously, she was overdue for a Black Type success and becomes the eighth stakes-winner for Vinery Stud's All Too Hard, who stands at a fee of $27,500 this year.

Yet another stakes-winner bred by Gerry Harvey, she was a $70,000 Magic Millions purchase for Worldwide Bloodstock from his Baramul Stud draft.

Roy's Riviera is a half-sister to stakes-winner Sebring Sally and is one of six winners from good producer Donna Amata, a half-sister by Anabaa (USA) to stakes-winners Yesterday and Donna Dior from the family of Golden Slipper winner Catbird.
