Ones to Watch – Sale

Tara Madgwick - Tuesday May 14

All Too Hard sired the first two winners at Sale on Tuesday with both debut runners saluting in style.

The Danny O'Brien trained two year-old Can't Be Done gave promise of better things to come when coasting clear to win the 1105 metre juvenile maiden by nearly three lengths.

All Too Hard is working towards a century of seasonal winners A $120,000 Magic Millions purchase for O'Brien Racing from the Rosemont Stud draft, Can't Be Done is the first winner from Nobody Gets, a winning half-sister by Forestry to Group III winner Musidora, the dam of Group winners Tulip and Sacred Eye.

This is the Grand Luxe branch of the Fanfreluche family that has produced champion sires Encosta de Lago and Flying Spur, so Canlt Be Done has the pedigree to suggest better wins are in store.

Starting a hot favourite in the 1205 metre maiden for older horses was three year-old filly Too Goo Too Hard, who was exactly that in posting an easy two length win at her first start.

A $120,000 Inglis Premier purchase for her trainer from the Mill Park draft, Too Goo Too hard is a half-sister to Group III placed It's a Myth from The Good Wife, a half-sister by Redoute's Choice to four-time Group I winner Divine Madonna.

Vinery Stud's All Too Hard is now up to 92 Australian winners for the season so is working towards his first century of seasonal winners. He stands this spring at a fee of $27,500.
