Retained to race by her breeders, Music Bay is the best of four winners from Kaapstad mare Illicitly, a half-sister to Group I Brisbane Cup winner Piachay and stakes-winner Utility.

She is the 95th stakes-winner Coolmore veteran Choisir, who stands this spring at a fee of $27,500.
