Winner of the $400,000 Inglis 3YO Guineas at Scone in 2017, Redoute's Choice gelding France has tasted success in Hong Kong racing as Encouraging and won his third race in a row at Sha Tin on Sunday highlighting his half-brother headed to the Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale next month..

2017 Inglis Scone Guineas winner France has found success in HKNow trained by John Moore, Encouraging surged clear to win the Class Two handicap over 1400 metres by two and a half lengths and has now won six of 22 starts.

A $475,000 Inglis Easter purchase from the draft of Newhaven Park for China Horse Club / Michael Wallace Bloodstock, Encouraging is a full brother to Group I ATC Coolmore Classic winner Peeping and is from Group II winning Encosta de Lago mare Miss Marielle, a three-quarter sister to Group II winner and sire Eurozone.

Newhaven Park will offer the current yearling from Miss Marielle, a colt by Medaglia D'Oro (USA), as Lot 125 at the Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale.
