Regal Stage was the second highest priced yearling at 2016 Inglis EasterIt’s been a long time coming but at last the Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott stable will take the wraps off four year-old Redoute’s Choice stallion Regal Stage, a full brother to $4million earner and champion sprinter Lankan Rupee.

He has accepted for race seven at Gosford, a 1200 metre maiden and is favourite following a recent trial win on January 24.

Regal Stage was a $1.8 million Inglis Easter purchase from the Coolmore draft for Gai Waterhouse Racing / J Blaxland / Nordic Racing & Breeding and is from Group III winner Estelle Collection, who was bought by Coolmore for $1.4 million at the 2014 Teeley Assets Dispersal at Magic Millions.
