Catalogued as Lot 417, the star colt is the second foal of the seven time winning and stakes performed Hussonet mare Breakfast in Bed – herself a half sister to this season's Group One winning filly Oohood.

The colt hails from the family of Magic Millions' inaugural 2YO Classic winner and champion sire Snippets.

"He's a beautiful style of colt," Harron said of the $1.4million colt. "It's an incredible pedigree – he's from a good performed Hussonet mare

"He's virtually a three quarter brother to Not a Single Doubt and he's much in the same mould."

"He's a very exciting horse," Harron added.

Two lots shared second place on the top sellerleaderboard – the Fastnet Rock-Ballet Suite colt and the I Am Invincible-Champagne Cath colt – both selling for $1.1 million.

Jon Kelly, Reg Inglis and Jamie McCalmont teamed up to buy Lot 379, the Coolmore Stud offered Fastnet Rock colt from Ballet Suite.

The colt is the first foal of his dam, a stakes winning and group performed daughter of High Chaparral.

"We thought we'd have to pay quite a bit more for him," Reg Inglis said. "So we are absolutely delighted."

"He is by Fastnet Rock, a champion sire, from a great female line and we thought he was a lovely colt."

"He is very athletic and we thought he was the best colt in the sale," Inglis added.

The connections who purchased Gold Coast Yearling Sale graduate Winx – trainer Chris Waller and bloodstock agent Guy Mulcaster – teamed up to buy Lot 446, the I Am Invincible-Champagne Cath colt for $1.1 million.

"I bought Champagne Cath as a yearling and she won her first start very impressively," Mulcaster said. "We love the I Am Invincible factor and we thought he was a beautiful colt."

"We stretched our budget a little bit, but luckily we managed to get him," Mulcaster added.

James Moore joined with Summit Racing Australia to secure the Redoute's Choice-Aware colt (Lot 374) with the Newhaven Park consigned youngsterselling for $1.075 million.

"We'vehad some good success with Redoute's Choice including Hostwin Galaxy who was unbeaten in Australia for Dad and those owners will be involved with this colt," a delighted James Moore said.

"He looks an earlier type and we're planning on being back here next January. He's a nice, well balanced, flashy colt."

The top priced Zoustar yearling of the day – the colt from Acouplamas offered by KBL Thoroughbreds, as agent for Bowcock Bloodstock, at $1.075 million will be heading to Peter and Paul Snowden after being purchased by Yu Long Investments.

"He's outstanding," Yu Long's Sam Fairgray said. "We're delighted to be able to get him."

"He looks a real fast, precocious sort of horse. He moved well and the mare's doing a good job with her first two progeny on the track so we're pretty excited to get a Zoustar who is one of the new top sires of the future," Fairgray added.

Magic Millions Managing Director Barry Bowditch said he was delighted with how Day Two of the sale played out and is particularly pleased with the depth of the buying bench.

"We thought the momentum would flow on but you never take it for granted," Bowditch said.

"It was another strong day's selling and there were plenty of buyers getting on the board – it's a great spread of buyers. There's no one really dominating the market too much."

"We've got an 85 per cent clearance at the moment so at all levels we are getting horses sold," Bowditch added.

So far across two days the sale has grossed a record $103.65 million (up from $89.6 million last year) with the average price sitting at $251,578 for 412 lots sold at a clearance rate of 85 per cent.
