Second on debut earlier this month, the Karen Kerlsey trained Rubic Rose
improved sharply to turn the tables on Beethoven, the horse who beat her at her
last start.She was quick to lead from barrier one and strode clear to win the 1100 metre dash by a length and a half.
Passed in as a yearling, Rubic Rose is the first winner for Kyoto, a winning half-sister by Gonski to Group I winner Pillaging.
