Winning Hat-Trick for Emirates Homebred

Tara Madgwick - Friday December 21
Flashy chestnut Choisir filly Tell Me has found a rich vein of form this preparation posting her third consecutive win at Kensington on Friday for Team Hawkes.

ChoisirA homebred for Emirates Park, Tell Me broke her maiden in late October at Canterbury and then stepped up to win a Benchmark 70 event at her next start at Canterbury on November 30.

Sent out favourite for this Benchmark 76 event over 1150 metres, Tell Me was fair to jump but mustered speed fast to go through and lead before showing real tenacity to the line to win by a short half head.

Tell Me has now won three of seven starts earning over $110,000 in prizemoney.

She is the best of two winners from Sweet Little Lies, who was sold in 2015 at the Inglis Broodmare Sale with Emirates Park signing the docket at $205,000.

She was in foal to Choisir and the result of that mating is Tell Me.

Sweet Little Lies has a two year-old filly by Dream Ahead (USA) called Little Stevie that was sold at Inglis Classic this year for $60,000 to Ellerton Zahra Racing and her current yearling is a filly by Snitzel,

Sweet Little Lies is a three-quarter sister-in-blood to stakes-winner Nocturnelle, who has thrown a couple expensive yearlings including $1million Snitzel colt Dracarys, a Group III winner.

Sweet Little Lies has foaled this spring producing a colt by Not a Single Doubt.

Her first two foals are both good metropolitan winners so there could be even better to come for Sweet Little Lies.
