Second Season Winners

Tara Madgwick - Wednesday November 28
With a Group I trifecta in the VRC Coolmore Stud Stakes and four individual stakes-winners this spring, Zoustar has shot clear of his second season rivals on the scale of prizemoney and stakes-winners, but on the score of winners it's an interesting race.

Three Bridges Thoroughbreds ill-fated Unencumbered still makes play with a narrow lead on 21 winners coming at a rate 55.3% winners to runners which is the best of all of the second season sires with significant runners.

His slow start last season is now a thing of the past as the Magic Millions 2YO Classic winning son of Testa Rossa just keeps churning out the winners.

UnencumberedHis final crop of foals are being born this spring and racetrack results like will have their owners very happy indeed.

Unencumbered has eight yearlings entered for the Inglis Premier Yearling Sale, three for Magic Millions and just one for Inglis Classic

Zoustar (Widden) follows on 20 winners and then we have Dundeel (Arrowfield) and Shamus Award (Widden) , two Champion 3YO's who are now coming into their own as their progeny mature.

Dundeel has 14 entries for Magic Millions, 23 for Inglis Classic and 13 for Inglis Premier.

Shamus Award has none for Magic Millions, 14 for Inglis Classic and six for Inglis Premier.
