WINX wins 4 Cox Plates - now you can buy her number plates!

Media Release - Friday November 2

Online auction website, Bloodstockauction is excited to offer the very first and only original and NSW 'WINX' number plates for auction! .

WinxThe number plate's owners are avid WINX supporters and have followed her since her very first race four years ago.

The plates are one of a kind and cannot be replicated in NSW.

Bloodstockauction.com's director, Anthony Gafa, said "These plates are the most sought-after set of plates in the racing industry right now."

WINX needs no introduction to punters and horse racing enthusiasts, most recently making Australian Racing History when she went on to win her fourth W.S Cox Plate last weekend – something no horse has ever achieved before.

With 29 straight wins, including 22 Group 1 successes, WINX is unbeatable and has fast become the world's best racehorse.

WINX 's trainer, Chris Waller, confirmed on Monday that his initial reports were that WINX had emerged unscathed from her record-breaking feat over the weekend, indicating that there is every chance she will come back better than ever next year.

"The owners of the [number] plates have been hesitant to move them on. They have been approached to sell them multiple times and have declined as they are very sentimental to them," said Mr Gafa.

"But they realise that these plates are extremely rare, and provide an opportunity for WINX connections, owners or fans to purchase a piece of racing history."

These one of a kind ' WINX ' number plates are the ultimate collector's item for any NSW based horse racing fan, and an absolute must for those with a connection to the mighty mare or that have shared in her success.

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to secure a true piece of racing history that can be displayed on any NSW registered vehicle, and passed down to future generations! The auction will be live until 7pm, Tuesday 6thof November.
